My baby is now a little girl

Karlee is now 1 year old! I can hardly believe how fast the last year has gone by. Each day Karlee is learning something new and is blossoming so much! Her rotten side is starting to show a little bit, but she is still so sweet and precious! Enjoy the pics from her first birthday!

9 months!!

Well today my Karlee boo is 9 months old...where is time going? I have attached a few recent pics of her for everyone to see! She is a mess. Clapping her hands is something she loves doing these days. I am not sure if the little boo bear is going to crawl or not. There is just no desire from her to do this. Mama and dada are sounds that are heard quite often these days and she loves bouncing while in your lap and bless her little heart she would love to talk to you if she could. Oh what joy she brings to my heart!

The dress that Karlee is wearing is a dress that my grandma Grantham handmade for me. I think it is so special that Karlee can now wear something that I once wore as a child.

Yeah I made a bib!!

My dad and stepmom gave me a sewing machine for Christmas and my mother in law has been trying to teach me how to sew when she comes to visit. Above is the very first thing I made all by myself! I did try making a taggie blanket without my mother in laws help and it just did not turn out very well. When I become more advanced I will post some other pictures of things I have made.

Dedication Sunday

Well we finally were able to have little Karlee dedicated at church. We had been waiting for a time when my brother Jason could be home and the time finally came. Dwayne and I are so blessed and thankful for God blessing us with Karlee. She brings so much joy and laughter to our lives. I thank God for her and for all of our family. Sometimes we forget just how blessed we are and just how much our Lord has done for us. Please pray that God continues to give Dwayne and I knowledge and wisdom to raise Karlee the way God would have her to be raised and for us to have wisdom in every situation that we may face as parents.
