Jason is Home!!!

It has been quite sometime since I have posted a blog. My computer has been broken so therefore it has caused me to get somewhat behind so I guess I will begin with the arrival of my brother Jason coming home from Iraq. Jason arrived safely back to NC several weeks ago and we are so thankful to God for bringing him back home! He was so excited to meet his niece Karlee for
the first time. I was so glad that Karlee took to him well and was not scared. Jason truly adores her! Christmas is going to be very Merry this year for our family and I thank God for all of his blessings on us throughtout this past year! Now an update on Karlee. She is now a little over 6 months old and changing much. She is trying to sit up, rolls all over the floor, knaws on anything she can get in her mouth, and loves to eat!! It is so amazing how much joy a child can bring to parents. Dwayne and I love her so much!

Karlee Update
Hello friends...
I just wanted to give you a little update on Karlee. I went to pick her up yesterday from Mrs. Joyce's and the first thing she said was "This child has talked all day long". Needless to say she is only 4 months old!!! She is making so many sounds and noises and would love dearly to be able to say something. I wonder what its going to be like when she can really talk??? I am sure there will be days that I say "Karlee can you stop talking for just a minute". Just kidding! I love hearing her try to make sounds and watch her smile and laugh! It is amazing at how much joy a child can bring to your heart! I just tear up as I watch her smile & laugh! She is also the apple of her daddy's eye! Ok I better stop before I start crying here at work and everyone ask me what is wrong.

Karlee...

The main reason I have started this blog is so that I can share with family and friends about what is going on in my life. As most of you know Karlee was born on June 6th and is such a joy to Dwayne and I! She is growing so fast.
It is so amazing how life changes once you become parents. The love you have for your child is something that words cannot explain. Karlee is now laughing, kicking her legs above her head, pulling at her clothes and lifting them up, and trying to roll over. We love seeing her change each week and watching her grow. She is such a gift from God!
